Training Delivery and Evaluation 6N3326 – QQI Level 6 Award

Learner Profile, Entry Criteria and Assessment Requirements

Training Delivery and Evaluation – QQI Level 6 – Four Day Programme

Learner Profile and Entry Criteria

Participants will typically be either company employees or members of the public with an interest in the field of Training Delivery and Evaluation and an interest in the improvement of instructional skills. The programme will be ideally suited to personnel who wish to progress within the training environment or who already have some responsibility for staff training as part of their employment role.

The programme is broad in nature and participants will gain an understanding of Adult Learning principles, as well as information on factors that will both positively and negatively impact training delivery and performance of learners.  Entrants will be expected to actively participate on the programme and will be required to prepare and deliver a work-based training module, as well as design and implement an effective assessment and evaluation process for the module delivered. Learner commitment is also required in the completion of an effective Training Evaluation Report and in the maintenance and completion of a Learner Record. This record tracks and records the individual involvement of the learner on the programme and reflects learner views of the effectiveness or otherwise of the various course elements and interventions.

Assessment

Participants, as part of the programme assessment, will be required to individually prepare and deliver a work-based training module that will demonstrate good training delivery and assessment skills and techniques.

-Participants will also be required to complete a Training Evaluation Report on the module they have delivered for Assessment, using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model. This will demand an ability to reflect on the quality of the training delivered and report on potential delivery and assessment improvements that can be achieved.

The final aspect of Assessment is the submission of an individual Learner Record which tracks participant involvement on the programme and gives a Learner perspective on the benefits or otherwise of various course components and training interventions.

Prospective participants are asked to review the requirements above and are invited to contact our administrative team at 021-4559180 for further details and course information.
