Improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprints is now a focus for businesses in Ireland. Our improved understanding of the effects our collective actions are having on the planet is leading to a transformation in attitudes towards our environment. Introduction to Sustainability- Focus on Energy Management provides owner’s/CEO’s/Senior Managers an appreciation of the fundamentals of energy management and reducing energy consumption will reduce costs and improve your ESG report. The course will help organisations play their part in achieving a net zero carbon footprint as set out in the Government’s Climate Action Plan 2021

This Programme will provide the learner with a general introduction to the background on where we are now globally and nationally. What needs to be done and what are the first steps to starting on the sustainability journey.

Presented by our Consultant in Energy Management, Jane Wickham, this course is interactive provides participants with a clear path on how to play their part in ensuring adherence to Climate Action Plan 2021.Jane has over 20 years’ experience in energy management and lectures in Energy Sustainability at TUSE ( formerly WIT) and holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy & the Environment (Distinction) from Reading University.
