Aims of the programme include:
- Develop stronger self-awareness of personal communication styles and the impact on internal/external customers.
- Build trust and engagement through more effective conversational skills and interactions.
- Become aware of what Conversational Intelligence and its effectiveness in Navigating the Conversational Highway
- Deconstruct Conflict to refocus, reframe and redirect
The brief is to initially offer a one day programme. The following programme is built around the aim of developing more effective conscious conversational skills.
Effective communication skills are vitally important to developing professional and personal relationships. Relationships begin and grow (and die) through communication, and the quality of communication influences the quality of the relationships. Without good communication skills one’s effectiveness in all roles in life be they professional, leader, manager, parent, friend, spouse, etc., is limited.
The objective of the Programme is to develop and enhance communication and conversational skills through increased self-awareness resulting in a deeper personal understanding of self, our attitudes, our behaviours and the impact of our communication style on others.
Understanding and managing oneself is a core competency that touches every aspect of personal effectiveness. We are all somewhat different in style and preferences. As we learn more about our own makeup, we are able to make better sense of experiences and wiser personal decisions.
