A QQI level 5 Occupational First Aid course. Practical and theoretical know how required for a healthy workplace. On completion of this three day course, your staff member will be equipped with the practical and theoretical know how required for a healthy workplace. The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by demonstration, practical tasks and assessment of individual skills.
The programme is tutor led and although a power-point presentation is used as a base for the training knowledge, emphasis is placed on the learning of practical First Aid skills. Participants will practice a full range of practical First Aid scenarios, under the supervision of the course tutor and will be assessed for competence. There will also be a short written assessment and 2 separate practical assessments for participants to ensure that key First Aid principles are understood and in order to achieve certification.

Provide necessary first aid within the workplace.
Deal with emergencies
Implement essential life saving skills
Successful participants will be registered as First Aiders.
