Employee Development Programme Module One: Management Development Programme This programme is aimed at experienced managers who wish to further develop their people management skills and deepen their knowledge of managing effectively. Module Two: CAR Interview Skills As part of the management development programme, participants will have completed behavioural interview skills training. The purpose of this session is to provide a short refresher on the CAR interview technique followed by observed practice and feedback. Module Three: Performance Planning & Feedback Building on from the management development programme, the aim of this module is to deepen the knowledge and skills around holding performance planning meetings and setting SMART goals. Module Four: Manager as Coach Advanced Preparation In this module, participants will coach each other. Read the “Coaching FAQ Sheet” and think about real issues that you can bring to your coaching session. Module Five: Difficult Conversations Advanced Preparation Prepare two difficult conversation scenarios to practice.
